The Silencer is a mute button available in momentary or latching configuration
Momentary footswitch operation is great for when you have fast stop parts and can't trust your noise gate to catch and release fast enough. If you want to be quiet, just touch the footswitch. The signal will resume as soon as you let go. Momentary is the default option.

Ultra simple passive circuit. It simply grounds the input when the footswitch is engaged. No LED.
